Welcome to TNVA!
I am entering my 16th year as a volleyball coach. Following my playing career at the University of Akron, I began my coaching career as an assistant coach at my alma mater. During my tenure, I furthered my knowledge of the game, assisted in recruiting and scouting, and trained our outside hitters and passers. During my career at Akron, I also coached for the A.C.E. Volleyball Club program. I became a co-director of the club and continued in that role as A.C.E. merged with the Maverick Volleyball Club. I have been a co-director and a coach at Maverick for the past 10 years! In addition to my roles in the JO world, I have also coached at Avon High School and currently at Brookside High School.
My goals are clear. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the game with young athletes and teaching them how to compete at a high level. I am a teacher on and off the court. I reinforce skills that enable young athletes to become positive peers and successful individuals. The only environment acceptable for learning is a healthy one! TNVA's coaches and staff will share the same goals.
We hope to see many athletes at our upcoming open gyms. My staff and I are excited to begin working towards a successful 2019 season! More information will be added to this site in the next couple of weeks.
Sincerely,
Jenn Larrick
